me n da man had been dreaming of moving to colorado since shortly after realizing we would be together forever... we made a short venture for me to check out the amazing place he went on and on about with stories of living and travelling around... in 2011 we stopped by the newly constructed arvada park...i was in awe needless to say...and now this is one of my local spots... yes, we are all fucking lucky and slightly spoiled. here's a blast from the past...

Is rad to see...charlie martin, a local roxborough ripper, is keeping style in skateboarding... there are a ton ripper kids out there and the fact is it looks like a lot of them are studying the berrics...that's cool if u got tricks but the style is stale and blaise....but this isn't the feeling you get when we see Charlie and his homies tearing up the big bowl at Roxy...u just want to sit and watch these "kids" destroy it, with style...

summer fun into november

Had a summer like session today, the weather has been unrelentingly amazing! on top of that, colorado has so many amazing parks you can feel okay neglecting your favorite one for a few months...we made plans early in the week to hit up foxy roxy and needless to say, super happy the plans didn't change! a bunch of friends showed and made some new ones... it was a rad day....everyone was ripping and laughing!

a few weeks ago

we took a day trip up to fort collins...Xavier showed up at edora with other local rippers jaeson n Dana...I love watching them skate, each has their own style and are badass ripping rulers...here's Xavier with a huge stalefish! Boom!!

everyday we get out of the city and into the rocky mountains is a fucking awesome day! Went to the breck park with Tanya n chad and met some new awesome people...Colorado is constantly giving...here's wrex with a huge Madonna on a super fun wall!

keeping the dream alive

Skateparks are a great place to meet nice people that are motivated to continually improve the skate scene in Colorado. You might wonder why people even bother when there is already so many amazing skateparks here. But for some people, skateboarding is a passion, and with that passion, there is no settling on what other people's hard work has provided for you to skate. Huge thank you to Matt Quam for keeping that passion alive and good luck on your project!
