sunday funday for life!

started out the day on a sad note, leaving a huge part of your heart to get on a plane never feels right... decided to check out the sunrise spot... sunrises in colorado are better than almost all sunsets...

checked on the new skatepark just 3 minutes from the house, can't wait for this to be done... coping is all set... just need snow to hold off so the flats and deck can be poured...

going to be so fun!!! 

later on in the morning, we met up with billy at baby arvada, had a fun sesh with stiff legs.,.

then skated Greg's tight n perfect side yard

then after a short break, hit up little arvada to end the day with sunshine and amazing wind gusts, pushing was required in only one direction!!

beat it, scooter biatches!!

the ultimate, so loud it knocked people out, so cloudy looked like they had a smoke machine,  did you walk out or get carried out, people were dropping like flies, the fuckin bass shook your insides

finally got to meet up with  gnarly carleigh for a brief session at lafayette a couple of weekends ago. she's fun to skate with and she falls with grace, ha! her nickname is fitting - this is a make!

snow once a week takes some getting used to but it will always rule over rain! plus the dogs love it!

saturday we headed out to check a new park - i had been there once with some az friends, but manuel reverto had never been there. when you live in the land of skateboarding, there's so many options.... we find us asking ourselves "where do we want to skate".... well how about something new and different, that's always a great answer! we met up with a couple of friends from grand junction and another local homie - okie! it was a beautiful morning and the weather was perfect, even skated in tshirts. i love colorado!

this is thornton - one of three parks in the suburb of denver. surprisingly this is a california skatepark - the design is actually really fun.

arvada's newest park is almost done! this is going to be fast! the quarter pipe is a lot bigger than the conceptual made it appear, no doubt it will be a perfect seven foot tall speed machine!! can't wait!! 

someone already tried to ride it and carved their name in the concrete... hmmm 215s?
