Tempe Labor Day Session

Today was epic!! Chris Anderson started an event for Labor day, and it was quite a jam. Seems like every head with skate history in Tempe and the surrounding Maricopa County showed up. The vibe was super positive, and hugs and hi-5's were abundant. There's such a rad thing when you get all these heads together, and the outcome is always in epic perportions. So lucky to be a part of a skate family that has such deep rooted history, and a positive outlook on everyones preference towards ripping. This aint' no contest!! This is a jam!!!

Thanks to Carl Cambell and Dan Hughs for the photos!!!

I love coming back to Az to visit the skate family, and seeing the great folks that have kept a place in my heart. Most I've known since high-school, some even longer. There's a special bond with lifetime friends that is so powerful and overwhelming, it washes the rest of the world away. We know who we are, and hold no disguises as to who we are. But that's the way it should be with everyone, and I hope some day it will be a common awareness, but for now, I live for these moments. We are blue collar fathers, mothers, teahcers, and bachelors during the weekdays, but on weekends, we are avengers of fun and comeradery. Many shake hands and even hi-5, but with the largely growing family down here, nothing other than hugs will do. I am very lucky to have grown up in such a great, forward motion scene that has always supported itself through love, honesty, and good times. Not too mention, it's really cool to see the Maricopa skate family get together, and see their kids are destroying the parks and streets with the same tradition. I love it! Keep on pushin', and wallie life's barricades!!
