gems cont'd
colorado holds a lot of gems, not just for skateboarding, but eye candy also, fresh air for your mind and soul. getting away from the city is a necessity. just to hear your own thoughts and breaths, giggles with your loved ones floating to the sky, without the annoying presence of construction or exhaust filling the air...is comfort. after adventure in the city of colorado springs, we headed towards the garden of the gods.
this place is amazing. it was way more crowded with loud annoying tourists than last time we visited, but luckily there are many trails and places to climb to higher ground.

colorado gems
last weekend we headed down to colorado springs for adam's bday, we stopped at this old park wrex n his buddies used to skate...goose gossage. it was built in the 90s. the park is lumpy n fun! imperfection perfectomundo!
wrex relived ollies of yore...
adam got his carve on, you can surprisingly get a lot of speed if you start on the high mound!
there is an amazing view and a creek that runs close to the park!
rail!
next we headed into the city and stopped at acacia park. you know that spot you skated every day revisited requires attempts at your old tricks...
this spot is a part of colorado's skateboarding history, you can find its posse still ruling the streets and shredding the parks...
a piece of history....
