sometimes i go through old emails and look at the cellphone shots i have either taken myself or received from others. these are from long distance nights from az to ms. i can't describe the longing i felt when i received these.

fixing up pools at houses nobody owns

instead of going out to skate a park or to something built by someone else... my bf and a friend decided to fix an empty pool at a house nobody has claimed (other than crackhead squatters and various homeless people) over the past 5 or so years.

yah he "beat you to it". we all got our runs in and then the thinset was mixed and laid down. the next day our friends went and checked it out and said it's "amazing".

i started writing a long thing about something that's been a source of negativity for well over a year now and i decided i'm not going to do it. i'm going to continue eliminating things from my life that make me feel an abstract stabbing motion is in order. this anger i feel inside must be swallowed up by everything awesome that is in my life.

even though skateboarding is still male dominated and driven, i find it funny when companies use "models" to promote their "skategirl" campaigns. get a clue.

there's a lot of rad people out there in the world who love skateboarding and love sharing it with others. these people remind me of what is important. true friends, true passion without intentions, and recognizing those worthy of a second thought.

if a complete stranger has access to a variety of skateboarding stickers, or anything related and would like to get a trade going with me, let me know! this sticker was received by my bff♡ from a fellow skateboarder (doug lejeune) in louisiana and they do a trade back and forth of stickers and other skateboarding related items...i want a trade stranger to trade stuff too. write me!

fyi four day weekends rule but the following mondays do not.

friday was an awesome day, perfect weather, skated pecos and then a friend took us to his marriage den with an empty pool. it was fun. the deep is rounded on one side, a tight wall below the ♡seat and the left side is kind of squared. the shallow is supersweet for those that can make it back up the waterfall with enough speed crazy but your board control better be in check to miss the stairs. for a pool skater, this pool would be rated pretty high on the level of fun. we left smiling and covered in pool dust.
