Nederland is famous for keeping dead guys frozen!! and holding a festival in honor every year...and they also have a creatively unsuspecting skatepark that is gnarly in some ways but awesomely fun in all ways! So needless to say it was not too difficult to get a rad crew of awesome people to hit the road for ten degree cooler weather in the mountains less than an hour away....

The bearics 2.0

We were interested to see how this park turned out, heard mixed things about the builder but with the general mindset that you can have fun anywhere if you really want, it's hard not to be optimistic...

turns out that the leadville skatepark is extremely fun, and different from the other parks here. The street area was far more crowded than the rest of the park leaving the flow bowl area a friendly sesh with about 6 or 7 people...and the view was absolutely gorgeous! And only about two hours from the Denver area, worth the drive!!
